John is a Swedish/Romanian abstract painter. After having studied at Konstfack (National College of Arts, Crafts and Design of Stockholm), advertising and communication arts in London, and worked over ten years as Art Director in an advetising agency, John has now decided to be fully concentrated on his art.
Somehow Influenced by the works and techniques of Jackson Pollock and Georges Mathieu, John is developing his work towards what he describes as “abstract existentialism”.
John has already exhibited in different places in Stockholm such as Konstbar and Pontus by the Sea. We will exhibit his work during the Spring 2010. Stay tuned!

I.D. MAGAZINE : MYANIMO AND A4 BY ARGUE DESIGN

Argue Design (formerly known as Please Design) has gone well forward since their exhibition at naïve last April. Their furnitures for kids, MyAnimo and A4, have been published in the Swedish magazine of architecture and design RUM and well promoted by David Carlsson in his blog davidreport.com/blog. It was enough to stir up the curiosity outside the Swedish borders, Svenska Institutet (Swedish Institute) has decided to take Argue Design's furnitures to a tour around the world for its program called Svenska Frön (Swedish Seeds) which promotes the Swedish design for kids funitures, and they have been published in the September issue of the international design magazine I.D. Magazine.
Congratulations!
